Big Maths!!

During our Big Maths sessions, the children worked hard to use halving and doubling to solve a range of problems. Well done year 5!!

 

Cheshire Phoenix Keeping healthy workshop

We had a great afternoon today working with the team from Cheshire Phoenix! We took part in 3 workshops about the dangers of smoking, the importance of a healthy diet and of course some basketball skills! 

Excellent English work...

Earlier in the week, Year 5 completed some super English work linked to our book The Water Tower. The children worked in small teams to use a combination of common and abstract nouns to create some wonderful sentences. Well done year 5!!
